MOD MEN

It takes quite a suit to turn a head in King's Road, Chelsea where the Saturday afternoon pastime is Mod-shopping. This one  managed to draw a crowd of mini-skirted birds. Grey hairline-striped worsted, the novel lapels stop at an overlap four-button front. Ticket pockets, deep side vented, by De Rogatis. Prince Igor tie.

Carnaby Street, a two-block-long throughfare which paved the way for a revolution. The sight-seeing descendant of an earlier revolution is State-side suited in a blend of wool and silk softly shadow-striped in blue and gold. The two pearl-buttoned double-breasted shows a split shawl collar, forward-pitched shoulders, waist suppression; angled pockets, side vents. By Tempo. Mr. John tie.

The kinky clothes at Biba's Art Nouveau-appointed shop in Kensington command the attention of two swinging swingers. Chalk-striped grey wool two-buttoned double-bresated suit for Now flaunts long-rolled peak lapels; welt pockets, deep side vents. By Hammonton Park. Tie by Reis of New Haven.
